Hello everyone welcome to my blog today I am going to be sharing my task called Run, Jump and Throw and I did this task with my learning buddy Nick. Okay you are probably wondering what this task is all about. Well we had to watch a video of athletes training and we had to write down what kind of skills that they did and if they showed sportsmanship, all the letters in PRIDE and other good attitudes. We then asked some questions that popped into our heads.
RUN, JUMP, THROW #1
WALT practice athletic skills and share how to perform them.
Brainstorm words from the video and put in either column (Skills or Attitudes)
“Your attitude determines your altitude.”
Trying their best
They never give up
Brainstorm 20 questions from watching the video. Any questions that come to mind.
“There’s no such thing as a stupid question.”
Why / How / Where / What / When / Who
is / are / could / would / should / did / may / will / might / shall
What happens if they get injured before a big game?
Who inspired them?
What do they do to get better?
How long do they train for?
How were the olympics made?
Why did they want to be athletes?
Why do they love sports?
Why do they have to train so much?
Do they do a lot of work to train?
Do they train every day?
Have they ever got injured ?
Have they ever got disqualified?
Do some athletes want to quit?
Do they give up or not?
What happens if they are sick?
Do they get angry if they lose?
Have they ever broken a bone before?
What if they fall on someone accidentally?
What do they do if they never play again?
I think athletics are awesome!
