Van Gogh maths task

Well hello everybody. It is Rosemary again and today I am going to be sharing something new and it is maths. I am so happy to share it with you guys. So what we were learning was how to make and read a stem and leaf graph. We also had to answer some questions to do with the graph. I hope you enjoy my maths blog post.

This is my maths task for week 8 and I really enjoyed this task because I am loving learning about the stem and leaf graph. I learned that the highest to lowest is called range instead of mode. I am loving Mr M teaching me more about the stem and leaf graph because he is a really good teacher to be learning with.

Statistics

Mean -The Mean is the average.

Median -The one in the middle.

Mode-The one that comes up often.

Range - The interval between the greatest and least values in set of data.

I got 39 / 50  78%100  for stage 5 number knowledge.

I did well in, Number bonds and Addition and subtraction.

My number knowledge goal is Division Facts.

Something I am proud of is My Score.

Something I want to learn more about is Groupings.

Perimeter and Area

 The perimeter of the 1st shape was 24cm. The perimeter

of the 2nd shape was 18cm. The total of the 1st shape and the 2nd shape all together is 42cm.

The length of the shape is 6cm. The width of the shape is 4cm.
Area =length x width 
6 x 4
=24cm2
