Life Trip To Mars

“It is a long trip to go to Mars,”my sister Caroline said.

“Well what if I want to go it is not your choice.”

‘’So are you going to say goodbye to all your friends?” said Caroline.

“No, some of my friends are going to Mars,” I said.

“Do you know what you are going to do there?” said Caroline.

“Have fun”I said

No you are going to die there.

“Well I think it is a lovely idea” said my mum thank you I said.

“My dad said I am with your mum it is a lovely idea and it is your choice.”

“Well I am with Caroline said my other sister Maddie “it is a dumb idea”

“Thank you” said Caroline.

“Come and eat dinner said mum and stop bickering.”

When I woke up the next morning I felt like I was going to be sick the reason I felt like I was going to be sick is because I was so sad and worried about going to mars then a little voice came to my mind it said

“You didn't put your certificate to go to mars so you are not going.”  

“Yes” I said.

“Everyone come and said around the table I have An announcement to make… I’m not going to Mars.”  

“Yes” my family said.

“Why are you not going anymore” said mum

“Well a little voice came to my mind and said you didn't put the certificate to go to Mars so I am not going.”  My family thought I was crazy but they were still very happy.

Mid Year Reflection

Digi Class

Hi my name is Rosemary and I am going to tell you all about my life in room 6. Ok so the thing I love doing in my class is being in a digi class. So I am going to tell you why I said that I love being in a digi class because my awesome teacher Mr M has taught me so much about laptops. The best thing I have learnt was sending a photo to my laptop and download it.

Netball

Now I am going to tell you my life in sports. Ok so my favorite sports is netball. I love netball because I love playing GK.

Genius Hour

My Genius is all about acting. The reason I chose acting is because I love performing in front of  my family because it is very fun. My favorite actor is Ross Lynch because he plays in Teen Beach movie and the Muppets Most Wanted movie and he plays in Austin and Ally.

In my class we are reading Wonder. Wonder is all about this little boy called August and he gets bullied because he has a different face to other people in the world.

Something I enjoyed was learning about more interesting stuff about stars and plants because it is very important.  

Something I found interesting was learning about how dark the sky is in the country because I didn't know that.

The most exciting thing about space is how people can work in space and live in space.

I would like to learn more about Matariki.

Waka Trip

“Hello and welcome my name is Jim and I am going to be your waka leader today. He said something very lovely he said if your mum and dad didn't meet you wouldn't be here today and I thought that was lovely. When he finished his lovely story I said in my head yes he has finished the lovely story now we can go on the waka. I got on the boat and got my paddle it was very light. Jim said has everyone got their paddle and is everyone facing the front everyone said yes so we all started paddling. I thought the hardest part was turning around and I thought the funniest part was paddle. We went past all these homes and we had to turn around to go back to school. When we got back he said who would like to say thank you so I did and I said thank you for our class. I was happy I did say thank you.
