Calendar art

Well hello there. It is me Rosemary again and this week I have a very cool post to show you guys.It is my calendar art. I am blogging this because I am really happy with it and I worked so so so hard on it.

This is my art. I am really happy with my art because I never knew I could do a bird but it turns out I can. My challenging part was probably blending in the colours because I didn’t know that you had to blend the light colours onto the dark colours.

Run, Jump, Throw

Hello everyone welcome to my blog today I am going to be sharing my task called Run, Jump and Throw and I did this task with my learning buddy Nick. Okay you are probably wondering what this task is all about. Well we had to watch a video of athletes training and we had to write down what kind of skills that they did and if they showed sportsmanship, all the letters in PRIDE and other good attitudes. We then asked some questions that popped into our heads.

My Holiday favorites

One of my holiday favorites was seeing Born To Dance with my friend Sophia, my sister Caroline and my sisters friend Brooke. I ordered some medium popcorn and a coke and it was really good. My favorite part of the movie was of course the dancing. Everyone in the movie was a really good dancer and I mean really good.

My other holiday favorite was going to Georgia's birthday party. The first thing we did was open the presents and have a little snack before we went out. Then we went to Laser force and I came 5th in my first game and second in my second game. Then we went to the park and had a little play around and that was really fun. Then we went back to Georgia's house and made some pizza and then had some cake and that was the end of Georgia's party. It was delicious and I had an awesome time.

Hello everyone. Welcome to my blog. I haven't see you guys in ages! Anyway here is my blog post for week 1 term 4. So what we did for this task was we had to find a photo on google and write about what was in the photo. I found this task so much fun. I turn around and in front of my eyes I see the most amazing scene. The glimmering blue sea shines from the sun light into my eyes. The turquoise sky glides above the earth as far as I can see. As I move my feet into the nice silky smooth sand, I can see some wavy green trees in the distance. The palm tree blows in the wind like a tornado. Spooky shadows in the water has been created by the fluffy clouds. A perfect place for a holiday.

Stan Walker Reading Response 3

Well hello everyone it is Rosemary again and 3 weeks ago in literacy I learned about Stan Walker and for one of our tasks, we had to remake one of his songs and I remade Black Box. After we had finished our songs we had to do a poster about Stan Walker or do a video about the song we remade. Thank for looking at my blog post. See you next time.

Week 4 Reflection

WALT reflect on our learning

Learning Superpower	What I Did Well	My New Goal
Learning Buddy	I think I did really well with trying to help my buddy when she needed help and I think she really appreciated my help too.	I think for my new buddy and my new goal I need to help my buddy put things on the tracking sheet because last time I didn’t do a very good job of that. I can do this by sitting by my buddy more.
Time Management	I don’t have a problem with my Time Management I think I do really well with it but like I said in my new goal I need to sit by my learning buddy heaps.	Is to not sit by my friends heaps and sit by my learning buddy more. How I could do this is I could meet my buddy somewhere in the Hub.
Choir	I have really like choir because it has been really fun and cool.  My favorite song is probably been ‘Lest We Forget’ because it is about the war and the war is really important.	My new goal is to learn how to go high because I am a low singer. I could do this by getting help from Miss Hill or my sisters.

My Holiday

My birthday party 

On Friday the 17 of July it was my birthday party and I had an awesome time. So what happened was my friends arrived at my house and we went inside to go and open the presents and I was grateful for everything I got. After that we played pass the parcel. Then we went to the auditorium at Lindisfarne it is like a movie theater and we watched Home. It was sad and funny at the same time. Then we went out to dinner to Breakers. For drinks we had traffic lights, they were so good. For dinner I had chicken nuggets and chips, it was so good! For dessert I had the donut sundae. After Breakers I had to say good bye to my friends and that was really hard.

Inquiry task

This is my Inquiry task. For this I was talking about Keeping our sea life safe from plastic so I was talking about what happens to the animals when they get hurt by plastic and how we could make that problem better.  I really enjoyed doing this task because I learnt a lot and I also loved doing this task because I did it with my mum.

Dear Fiona,

I just wanted to say thank you so much for coming to camp. You were a very good helper and you always had a smile on your face. Whenever someone was sad you always offered to help or asked what's wrong and that is why you're such a kind person.

When Lippy had you for Masterchef I thought you were a very good helper. and only when we needed your help. When Lippy didn't have an idea, you had an idea and I thought that was very sweet.

So thank you so much Fiona for all your help. Have a great year.

Math Number Line

This was my math task this week. I found this task really fun and awesome. My math this week was all about number lines. It is important to add to the nearest tens number and the number line helps with that. P.s. I really enjoyed this because I learned a lot about number lines.

This week in my writing I was learning about

Candy land

I turn around and in front of my eyes is the most amazing scene. I can see colorful lollipops that looks like growing flowers with swirls and the grass is lime frost. A rainbow path that's made out of colorful jelly going straight to the mountains. The mountains have vanilla ice cream and they are at the distance. A beautiful fairy with a lovely purple dress with lollipops on it. Clouds are floating in the lovely blue sky like planes..

This is my maths for this week. This week we were learning about sliding, flipping and turning. When I first did it I found it really hard but when Mrs Hind showed me how to do it I found it a little bit easy. So at the top I have done flipping and in the middle I have done sliding and down the bottom I have done turning. Thank you so much for reading

This is my cricket T-Shirt that I made. Right so as you can see there is a fern on my T-Shirt because that represents New Zealand, There is a wicked, bat and ball because that represents cricket of course. ANZ and ford are some of the people that sponsors them.
