Calendar art
Well hello there. It is me Rosemary again and this week I have a very cool post to show you guys.It is my calendar art. I am blogging this because I am really happy with it and I worked so so so hard on it.
This is my art. I am really happy with my art because I never knew I could do a bird but it turns out I can. My challenging part was probably blending in the colours because I didn’t know that you had to blend the light colours onto the dark colours.

Run, Jump, Throw
Hello everyone welcome to my blog today I am going to be sharing my task called Run, Jump and Throw and I did this task with my learning buddy Nick. Okay you are probably wondering what this task is all about. Well we had to watch a video of athletes training and we had to write down what kind of skills that they did and if they showed sportsmanship, all the letters in PRIDE and other good attitudes. We then asked some questions that popped into our heads.
RUN, JUMP, THROW #1
WALT practice athletic skills and share how to perform them.
Brainstorm words from the video and put in either column (Skills or Attitudes)

My Holiday favorites
One of my holiday favorites was seeing Born To Dance with my friend Sophia, my sister Caroline and my sisters friend Brooke. I ordered some medium popcorn and a coke and it was really good. My favorite part of the movie was of course the dancing. Everyone in the movie was a really good dancer and I mean really good.
My other holiday favorite was going to Georgia's birthday party. The first thing we did was open the presents and have a little snack before we went out. Then we went to Laser force and I came 5th in my first game and second in my second game. Then we went to the park and had a little play around and that was really fun. Then we went back to Georgia's house and made some pizza and then had some cake and that was the end of Georgia's party. It was delicious and I had an awesome time.

Scene description
Hello everyone. Welcome to my blog. I haven't see you guys in ages! Anyway here is my blog post for week 1 term 4. So what we did for this task was we had to find a photo on google and write about what was in the photo. I found this task so much fun. I really tried hard with choosing the best possible words which is my personal goal. I hope you enjoy my writing. See you next time!
Scene Description Rosie J
Success Criteria
- Has strong adjectives
- Different sentence beginnings
- Different sentence lengths
- A simile and/or alliteration
- Has an introduction, body and conclusion
- Thoughtful word choices
- Use the best words as possible
I turn around and in front of my eyes I see the most amazing scene. The glimmering blue sea shines from the sun light into my eyes. The turquoise sky glides above the earth as far as I can see. As I move my feet into the nice silky smooth sand, I can see some wavy green trees in the distance. The palm tree blows in the wind like a tornado. Spooky shadows in the water has been created by the fluffy clouds. A perfect place for a holiday.

Van Gogh maths task
Well hello everybody. It is Rosemary again and today I am going to be sharing something new and it is maths. I am so happy to share it with you guys. So what we were learning was how to make and read a stem and leaf graph. We also had to answer some questions to do with the graph. I hope you enjoy my maths blog post.
This is my maths task for week 8 and I really enjoyed this task because I am loving learning about the stem and leaf graph. I learned that the highest to lowest is called range instead of mode. I am loving Mr M teaching me more about the stem and leaf graph because he is a really good teacher to be learning with.

Stan Walker Reading Response 3
Well hello everyone it is Rosemary again and 3 weeks ago in literacy I learned about Stan Walker and for one of our tasks, we had to remake one of his songs and I remade Black Box. After we had finished our songs we had to do a poster about Stan Walker or do a video about the song we remade. Thank for looking at my blog post. See you next time.

Art Plan
Later in the term, the whole school is taking part in a visual arts exhibition. You will have to make your own piece of visual art.
We are LEARNING, CREATING AND SHARING through the ARTs
/
Success Criteria of the art
- No larger than A3
- Must be super high quality (your absolute personal best)
- Must be a type of visual art
- Must be aesthetically pleasing (it has to look good)
- It must challenge you (aim high)
There is an example of how to do Task 2 on the wall.
Task 1
Discuss with your learning buddy about all of the different types of visual art (there are lots!).
Write 3 of them below.
1. 3D
2. Graffiti Art
3. Painting
Task 2- Your plan
Please insert a picture of what your completed art will look like. (It will be either: an image from the internet, a google drawing or a rough draft).
Write a list of materials you will need.
If a material is not in the classroom, include how you will get it.
- 2 pieces of white A4 paper- from the classroom
- Green paint (for the background and the roots)- from the classroom
- Red paint (for the flower and the leaves)- from the classroom
- Yellow paint (for the flower)- from the classroom
- And a little bit of dark blue (for the flower)- from the classroom
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Write a list of steps to take.
1. Paint the white paper green
2. Then with the other white piece of paper I am going to sketch the flower and the leaves
3. Then I am going to get the red paint, the yellow paint, the green paint and a little bit of dark blue to put around the outside of the flower. P.S. It is going to be very challenging but I will try to make it realistic.
4. Then after the painting has dried I am going to cut them out and stick them on the green paper if it has dried.

Week 4 Reflection
Welcome to my blog. It is Rosemary again and I am going to be sharing my week 4 reflection with you lovely people. So each week we have been reflecting on our week to see how it has been going and this reflection is all about how you think it is going with your learning buddy, what your goal is, how you think your time management is going. It also is about how I think it is going with choir and what my goal is. By the way you could pick your last one. Thank for coming to my blog.
*Note: you choose which is the third learning superpower you want to reflect on. It could be an area of learning or something else that helps you learn.

What I Did Well
|
My New Goal
|
Learning Buddy
|
I think I did really well with trying to help my buddy when she needed help and I think she really appreciated my help too.
|
I think for my new buddy and my new goal I need to help my buddy put things on the tracking sheet because last time I didn’t do a very good job of that.
I can do this by sitting by my buddy more.
|
Time Management
|
I don’t have a problem with my Time Management I think I do really well with it but like I said in my new goal I need to sit by my learning buddy heaps.
|
Is to not sit by my friends heaps and sit by my learning buddy more. How I could do this is I could meet my buddy somewhere in the Hub.
|
Choir
|
I have really like choir because it has been really fun and cool. My favorite song is probably been ‘Lest We Forget’ because it is about the war and the war is really important.
|
My new goal is to learn how to go high because I am a low singer. I could do this by getting help from Miss Hill or my sisters.
